Booking in for a workshop

I’m offering two courses this winter: one day sandcasting workshops, where you can come along and have a go at melting and pouring molten silver into a clay mold; and a six week block of wax carving, where I’ll teach you the basics of carving jewellers wax and then finishing the resulting works in the metal of your choice.
All workshops are for a maximum of four people so you get lots of bench and tutor time, and take place in my fully-equipped air-conditioned workspace.
I also offer a one-day couple’s ring making course that can be booked by appointment.

Sandcasting
ONE DAY WORKSHOP
Learn the ancient art of sandcasting in this hands-on one day workshop.
Feel like a tiny god as you melt metal to a flowing liquid and pour it into your hand- crafted mold. Then refine and polish your creation until it sparkles with your reflected delight.
All tools and tuition provided.

Lost wax carving
SIX WEEK EVENING COURSE
One evening a week for six weeks, we will gather in the workshop to learn the ancient art of wax carving. You will create at least one piece to be cast using the lost wax process. The first two sessions are dedicated to learning basic skills, with the final four dedicated to your own creations.

Ring making for two
ONE DAY WORKSHOP
Six hours together - just you and your chosen bestie… plus me! Make rings that will forever be special and unique to you both.
From 10am to 4pm.
